All major cryptocurrencies experienced a decline in morning trading on Wednesday. Cardano (ADAUSD) saw the largest change, tumbling 3.93% to 48 cents. Other notable drops include Solana (SOLUSD) which dropped 1.55% to $95.50, Ripple (XRPUSD) which dropped 1.27% to 50 cents, and Polygon (MATICUSD) which declined 1.27% to 80 cents.
Ethereum (ETHUSD) slid 0.74% to $2,364.30, while Uniswap (UNIUSD) slipped 0.87% to $6.26. Bitcoin (BTCUSD) fell 0.42% to $42,999.00 and Dogecoin (DOGEUSD) dropped 0.27% to 8 cents. Polkadot (DOTUSD) posted the smallest drop with a decline of only 0.09% to $6.79.
In other news related to cryptocurrency companies, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) fell 2.95% to $116.26, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) fell 3.89% to $478.62. Riot Platforms Inc. (RIOT) shares also saw a decline of 2.31% to $10.56, and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) shed 3.96% to $16.39.
Block Inc. (SQ) experienced a drop of 1.61% to $65.92, while Tesla Inc. (TSLA) inched down 0.27% to $184.60. PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) saw a slight decrease of 0.65% to $63.30, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. (EBON) shares declined 2.90% to $8.71. On the other hand, NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) rose 0.91% to $688.43, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) increased 1.20% to $169.90.
In the fund space, the blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) inched down 0.63% to $26.81, while the Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ), which focuses on pure-play crypto companies, shed 2.10% to $8.40.
