U.S. Stock Market Update
Cloudflare Inc. Cl A (NET) is expected to open with a strong performance, showing a 26.8% increase in pre-market trading. Similarly, Exelixis Inc. (EXEL) is also set to start the day positively, with a 7.5% gain.
Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN), MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR), and SentinelOne Inc. (S) are all experiencing gains of at least 4%. However, Expedia Group Inc. (EXPE) and Pinterest Inc. (PINS) are facing declines early on, with drops of 15.1% and 8.6%, respectively.
Looking at the futures market, the S&P 500 futures indicate a modest increase of 0.14%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures show a slight rise of 0.04%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures are up by 8.45%.
Turning to commodities, Brent crude oil futures are down 0.22%, and gold futures are down 0.11%. On the other hand, Bitcoin is showing growth, climbing by 3.89% to reach $47,278.
In bond market news, the 10-Year Treasury yield has climbed to 4.172%.
Looking back at the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow both saw minor increases of 0.06% and 0.13%, respectively. Overnight in Asia, Japan's NIKKEI 225 Index also experienced a small uptick of 0.09%.
As we move into the afternoon trading session in Europe, stocks are on the rise. The STOXX Europe 600 Index is up by 0.08%, and the FTSE 100 Index has climbed by the same margin since the previous close.
